Sample Data Reports & the Why

All of these reports can be done in multiple reporting technologies. My next step is to show the samples I have.

Enrollment Data

Enrollment Data is used to track enrollment over time and as the school year progresses. Watch for changes in demographics and the need to hire to support special populations.

Behavior Data

Behavior data helps you track students social emotional health and see what interventions are working. Also monitor where additional supports are needed by checking on students with multiple referrals. See which teachers need more supports based on how many referrals they enter.

MTSS - Multi-Tiered Systems of Support

Using multiple assessments can help see if there is a domain where students are underperforming. Or identify students to cohort them into intervention strategies. Assessments can be for Literacy, Numeracy, or tests aligned with state standards.

Putting it all together. Take assessments, attendance, and behavioral data. Put it all together and develop an MTSS plan for cohorts or individuals.

Attendance

Check in with your students several times a year. See if the feel safe, have a trusted adult in their life, need supports. Parse the data by new students, students who don’t speak English or other important factors.

Monitor daily, classroom and chronic attendance. Set up processes to reach out to your students and families.
